Medical Device Technologies has been made aware an ad (Page 13) that was placed in The Australian Newspaper on Saturday, 06 July 2024.
Medical Device Technologies is disappointed with the outcome of its initial case and appeal to the NSW Supreme Court. At present with the limited time left Medical Device Technologies is considering its position. A major factor in this consideration is the massive financial burden of going up against unlimited government taxpayer funds.
Medical Device Technologies would note that over 40000 of these devices have been sold worldwide, are used in multiple countries, treat thousands of patients and are still CE (Conformité Européene Mark) approved.
Medical Device Technologies has notified the TGA and TUV SUD of the ruling and is complying with the processes.
The ad published indicates that tens of millions were spent on ventilators. Medical Device Technologies can confirm it sold less than 15% of all AEONMED products in Australia whilst it was an Exclusive Distributor during COVID 19. The ventilators sold by MDT did have TGA approval, it cannot comment on the other 85% of sales.
Medical Device Technologies complied with all legislation and Acts during the sale of ventilators (COVID 19 – Pandemic). At all times MDT acted appropriately and ethically in its dealings.
